Really good recipe! This is by far the best sugar cookie recipe I have tried. I use small cookie cutters so my daughter can have a good amount of cookies without really having too much cookies. Baking it at 350 for 7 minutes exactly makes the cookies come out really soft, almost like the sugar cookies you buy at the grocery stores. A+!

I misplaced my MIL's sugar cut out recipe, so I went looking for one on RZ, and found this - which I believe is the exact same, although my cookies seemed to puff up a lot more than MILs - maybe she doesn't have the baking soda in hers? Anyway, the taste is delicious, and they always cut out pretty easily. We make a conf. sugar glaze/frosting and cover with holiday sugar/candies.

Why, oh why have I never tried this recipe before???! BEAUTIFUL cookie- light, crisp, a perfect shede of golden brown. The dough cuts perfectly and keeps it's shape well. I followed the recipe to a T except I used sprinkles to decorate and I let the dough chill overnight. WONDERFUL recipe!! LOVE IT!

This is my default cookie recipe. I had no idea where it came from, but I always get RAVES over it. I use it with frosting recipe #275827. They're fabulous!
