This smelled wonderful as it was mixing up in the bread machine, and it did not lose anything in the baking. I made a triple batch, which my 2 lb bread machine can handle on the dough cycle, as I wanted several loaves for a bake sale. I could not find my cinnamon right away, so added a little cardamon and ginger, but then found the cinnamon, so this was quite the spice medley. Cinnamon is usually inimical to yeast, but this rose beautifully, and the dough was lovely to work with. Unfortunately, the oven decided to stop working when the dough was ready for it - thank heavens for good neighbors! I made three loaves and the all-important tasting bun, for that important taste test. This is a lovely, lovely bread.

This bread smells divine! I used the dough maker on my bread machine and then transferred it to a loaf pan. Let it rise (it probably took almost an hour) and then baked it in a 350 degree oven until brown. I only had 1/4 cup of pecans so I added walnuts to this too. Great toast and I bet it would make wonderful french toast. Thanks for sharing. Made for Photo Tag.
