My friend Sue is a professional cook and Sue says: One of my favorite recipes for the holidays, this simple spread is excellent served with sliced apples, pears, peaches, or thin slices of French bread. The Brie should be very ripe for the smoothest spread and best flavor. 1 tablespoon of fresh herbs or 1 teaspoon of minced garlic can be added to the recipe for more flavor, or to make a variety of spreads to offer. The spread can be made up to 3 days in advance and stored in the refrigerator. Return to room temperature before serving.

  1. Place the ingredients together in a blender or food processor and process until well blended.
  2. Serve immediately or store tightly covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

This is easier then easy and so delicious. We are huge Brie eaters so I was naturally drawn to try this out.I added a clove of minced garlic to mine,as we're big garlic lovers too.It was then spread on thinly sliced baguette, and lightly toasted. DH had a friend pop over and they did a great job of polishing off a batch, while chatting over some beers. Thanks Linda!Made for Newest ZaarTag.
