These cookies are delicious! It was a bit tricky to get the cooking time exactly right though. Definitely a good idea to take them out of the oven about a minute before they are completely cooked through in the middle. Then I let them sit in the tray on the stovetop for about 5 minutes before moving them to the cooling rack. Serve with a TALL glass of cold milk!!
Really love these cookies. Although it says yields 48, I made roughly 80! Maybe my cookie scoop was smaller then normal but they made huge cookies! Seriously recommend! Love these cookies!
I followed the recipe perfectly and all was going well untill i needed to roll them. I did not have a cookie scoop and i winged it. I put them in for 9mimutes and took then out and let them settle. They were crisp and golden and soft. But just quite cakey and doughy.......And sooo fulling
Thank you for the recipe. These turned out very well, very similar if not better than subway. My boy loved making them. We substituted the nuts with chocolate chips.
My cookies did not turn out well and im pretty upset
I've never really baked anything before, but these turned out great.
I have been looking for a cookie recipe like this for ages....I made them today and they are amazing. The texture is soft and chewy but not cakey....I LOVE! This is now my go to cookie recipe for sure and will be sharing it with everyone, 5 stars!!!!
I made these today with my 3 year old daughter - what a hoot! She gobbled up the raw dough almost as fast as I formed and baked the cookies. I added 1 cup of ground oats (it makes me feel better about all the chocolate) and reduced the flour by 1/2 a cup. An amazing recipe and I will be making again. As a mum of four children, I know I will have no issues about these being eaten. Thanks for posting!!!
