I did not have any ground clove, so I used about 1/8 tsp of ground allspice. This tasted so good, I'll never buy pumpkin pie spice again.

Thank you very much for sharing this, as I was making Spicy Pumpkin Chili, and this was the only ingredient that I did not have...perfect solution!! :-)

I seldom use pumpkin pie spice, so hate to buy a whole bottle of it at the store. This recipe works out perfectly for me. Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you for posting a recipe for just a small amount of spice. I ran out of pumpkin pie spice and needed another 1/2 Tbls. I didn't want to make a huge batch like the other recipes yield. This one is perfect! Thanks!

This worked great for my pie....always wondered why you had to buy it premixed when you already had all the spices on hand.

This was great. I never buy pumpkin pie spice since my DH hates pumpkin pie. I needed the spice in another recipe and I like that this doesn't make a huge amount, unlike some of the other recipes. Thanks so much for sharing.

I don't know what pumpkin pie spice is supposed to taste like, but I was making a cookie recipe today that called for a bit so I used this version. Two of the spices in here are definitely not my favorites (cinnamon and ginger) so I was a bit worried about the taste of the cookies I was making, but they were excellent! There was a bit of a spice flavoring, but not overwhelming and I couldn't taste any of the flavors that I don't like.

I don't use pumpkin pie spice all too often so this is the perfect solution for me. It allows me to make the freshest spice blend. I grate my whole nutmeg and add the rest of the spices and Voila! Just the amount I needed for a cookie recipe yesterday. Thanks.

This is a great substitute for the store bought stuff. I never want to buy pumpkin pie spice because I just don't use it enough. This is a great way to make up my own. Thanks for the great recipe!

I ran out of pumpkin pie spice. I found this recipe. It's easy ---why bother buying this spice when I already have the ingredients on hand. I usually only need pp spice once a year.

The night before Thanksgiving and I'm making my pumpkin pies...and I realize I don't have any pumpkin pie spice!!! Thanks so much for this lifesaver of a recipe! You saved me time that I didn't have to spare! Since I don't use pumpkin pie spice too often, this is what I'll use from now on so I don't have that extra container cluttering up my spice shelves. Thanks so much for posting this keeper.

Here is another 5 stars!! This is perfect. Had everything on hand except the ginger. I don't use ground ginger much as I don't like the flavour. Thank you for sharing this recipe...as now I will never buy the premade.

I absolutely refused to pay $4.85 for that little bottle of pumpkin pie spice in the store when I knew someone on the zaar would save the day for pennies. Thanks for posting.
