Dear MissNezz, I have always added cornflour to curd and thought I had sour cream (never had the original). Today I served your version with roast potatoes and grilled meat and it was lovely!! Thank you for the lovely introduction you have given me to a basic recipe. I added onion to it too. Superb if I may say so very humbly!!

This was an excellent substitute for sour cream. I used skim milk and instead of cottage cheese, I used reduced fat ricotta. I just threw it all into the food processor for a minute and then refrigerated for about an hour and it came out great! Thank you.
I have not tried this recipe. My copy I got from Everyday Health is slightly different. It calls for 2 tbl low fat milk, 1 tbl lemon juice. The rest is the same. Thanks for posting. Christine (internetnut)
