My mom serves this slice and rolled (secured with a party toothpick) or sliced with rolls on the side - this is Stu's favorite because every time I have a party and DON'T make this - I hear about it.
- 1 (2 -3 lb) flank steaks
- 1⁄2 cup soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1⁄3 cup olive oil
- 1⁄3 cup dry sherry
- Combine all ingredients and store, marinating in a sealable gallon bag (for easy turning).
- Turn often and marinate for 3-4 hours.
- Remove steak from marinade and grill or broil for 10 minutes per side.
- Slice at about a 45-degree angle against the grain.
