This recipe is awesome! My whole family enjoyed it. I understood the yeast as needing to be two packets which if measuring is 1tbsp & 1/2tsp of yeast. My dough rose very quickly and was ready in one hour. We used a ton of extra cheese, pepperoni, italian sausage and black olives and it cooked perfectly fine. Due to my oven, I think, I turned my baking sheet at about halfway so one loaf would not be darker than the other. I'm just a beginner at bread making and I found this recipe easy to make :-) Thanks!

Very yummy. Used extra mozzarella. I was confused about the yeast amount though. An individual packet of yeast weighs 1/4 oz, which means you'd need 9 packets to get 2 1/4 oz. of yeast! That seemed a bit excessive. :-) Maybe 2 1/4 tsp. was meant? At any rate, I used about three teaspoons and that worked just fine. The bread dough was very easy to make.

This is great. I used 3 teaspoons yeast based on the 2.25 ounce measure. I wish I had mixed it in my KitchenAid mixer; instead, I mixed it by hand and that was okay — it seemed to mix well and worked okay. If you choose to mix this by hand, this is for the experienced cook! Thanks, Potatoes Browning! Made for PAC Fall '08.
