The mushrooms turned out great! Crispy and tender. Anyone have a suggestion for reducing the amount of mushroom liquid that runs out though?
I loved these! My mushrooms were quite large so it took closer to 30 minutes for the mushrooms to be cooked.
Thought I'd try a different stuffed mushroom recipe this time. Sorry, but I like mine better, which I make with Italian sausage. I also use powdered onion and garlic (saves on chopping). Saute the mushroom stems with the sausage in a little bacon grease, just for added flavor, add bread crumbs. If it seems dry, add a little liquid of choice, stuff and top with parmesan cheese. Also, it's been my experience that med-large size caps take at least 20-30 min @ 350 to thoroughly cook. Thanks for posting, 'cause I do like to try new or different recipes.
I made this recipe as instructed and these things are delicious. I also had a friend over for dinner and he really liked them too. I can see myself taking these to any party I would attend.

Wonderful recipe! This recipe always impresses my friends. Very easy to make and great to use up stale bread. I do think the stuffing needs a bit more seasoning but that's just my personal taste. Works great with different types of cheeses as well.
These were way too dry and not very flavorful. I will not make them again.
Really liked these and found them easy - my first attempt at stuffed mushrooms. I used parmesan and smoked gouda, as that is what I had on hand. Great!
