This was delicious. Just the kind of filling I was looking for. I didn't have breadcrumbs, so I crumbled up some garden vegetable crackers, and I also used the dry parmesan cheese instead of fresh. They turned out great. Thanks for an awesome recipe!
Excellent. The filling is just wonderful, although I didn't have enought to fill all 12 mushrooms. I skipped the precooking of the whole mushroom and just added an extra 5 minutes to the cooking time and they turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing Made for SSC Pet Parade
Double recipe. Made with leftover stuffing (Pepperidge Farm) and onion powder (2 t.) so my non-onion eating DH could enjoy these too. Used a carton of white mushrooms from Costco and they were truly divine.

Altho I had to use what I call med-sized mushrooms & the powder type Parmesan cheese, neither seemed to hurt your recipe. I did add a bit of garlic & DH felt even more would be better. These bites of mushroom goodness are an easy fix, hold their shape well w/no loss of cream cheese & the combo of saute + bake time gets them perfectly cooked. i've never made stuffed mushrooms before & now i have zwt 4 to thank for introducing me to your recipe!! these were so good. i halved the recipe since it was just me and my bf & these were so easy & quick to make...what a great appetizer! i did add cracked pepper to the cheese mixture but followed exactly otherwise.
