  1. Wash and dry mushrooms; remove and chop stems.
  2. Set aside caps.
  3. Melt butter in skillet; add chopped stems and onion.
  4. Saute lightly; add breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.
  6. Add salt and pepper.
  7. Stuff mushroom caps with sauteed mixture.
  8. Arrange in shallow baking dish.
  9. Garnish with bacon.
  10. In small bowl, combine sour cream, milk and ketchup.
  11. Spoon over mushrooms.
  12. Lightly sprinkle with paprika.
  13. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  14. Serve hot.

These were very good. I thought the addition of ketchup was interesting. It added a sweet quality to the stuffing. My boys likes these a lot! Made for Holiday Tag.
