4.5 stars! We are a saucy family so I will increase the sauce next time. I love the mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar.

  1. Clean peppers.
  2. Cook them in water, just enough to cover, for 5 minutes.
  3. Brown hamburger and onions to light brown. Drain, stir in salt, rice and 1 cup of sauce.
  4. Heat.
  5. Stuff each pepper with mixture.
  6. Put in upright in a container (ungreased). Pour remaining sauce on peppers.
  7. Cover.
  8. Cook 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
  9. Uncover.
  10. Cook 15 mintutes longer.
  11. Sprinkle with cheese.
