  1. Hubby and kids really liked this.... it was fun to make and easy too... Thanks!!

  2. Forgot to rate this! I fixed this a few months ago.Dh and I really enjoyed. Will make again.

  3. This was very tasty, and DH loved, loved, loved it. I used condensed nacho-cheese soup, and added about 1 tsp cumin and 1 tsp chili powder. It added a good spicy kick but wasn't too hot. I used shredded cheddar as the topper b/c it's what I had on hand. This made for a quick, very filling meal that I paired with a green salad.

  4. I made the filling and served it on toasted rosemary and tomato bread as an open face sandwich. The other change I made was to use a southwest spicy cheese soup and a jalepeno cheese. (With all of the changes I am not assigning stars.) Thank you for inspiring a easy & quick to fix lunch.

  5. This was sooo blah! I even added some green bell peppers with the onion and garlic. I did add some shredded pepperjack/cheddar. Other than that, I followed the recipe.

Tweaks

  1. This is a good way to stretch 1 pound of beef. The french bread gets nice and crispy when it is put in the oven. I used shredded cheddar cheese instead of the American cheese.
