  • Preheat oven to 325-degrees F.
  • Cut stems off figs and split lengthwise.
  • Stuff each with 2 almonds and pinch closed.
  • Arrange on cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Serve at room temperature with 1 Tablespoon cream cheese.

  1. ellie, I didn't think too much about this recipe when I made it, but when I tasted it I was in for a good surprise! Baking the figs intensified the flavor and with the cream cheese this was just delicious!!! Thanks for a great recipe! I will definitely be making these again!

<p>I love cooking and trying different foods, but my favorite cookbooks are now Weight Watchers or low fat/low cal cookbooks as I tend to try and make low fat/low cal recipes. I lost over 90 pounds on Weight Watchers and have maintained for over a year now -- so my cooking/eating habits have changed drastically following my weight loss and to keep it off!</p>
