Yum! Super fast and delicious. Great picnic or potluck dish. Thanks for posting!
I had been looking for this recipe forever. I had it twice not knowing what was in it. I had asked people before about the recipe but everyone thought it was ambrosia. Thanks so much this is going on my thanksgiving table!
My aunt made this salad for a family reunion and it was THE coveted dish. Very, very good.
My mom and grandma have made this for years. I LOVE it. But since neither myself or my brother like mandarin oranges, she took to making it with grapes instead. I still make it that way and it's fantastic for people who want to try a different take on it!
This is very, very similar to the cookie salad my sister makes and brings to every family gathering. Everyone LOVES it!
In my recipe, I add one small container of crushed pineapple, drained. Be sure and drain the mandarin oranges, too. If you don't, the salad will be runny. Also, whenever you crush the cookies, just crunch them up. Not too fine or they'll get soggy. Refrigerate overnight, add crunched up cookies and mix. Ya' got a winner!
What a delightful summer salad!! This one will please everybody from 1 to 99!! Very, very easy to put together and oh so yummy!! Thanks for this great recipe :)
This is a fantastic dessert that I tried at a party last summer. The mandarin oranges add sweet flavor that seems to compliment the rest of the ingredients. Another reason I like it so much is that its so simple to make!
mmmmm.....this is good stuff. i haven't actually made it, but i've tried it, from the recipe queen herself! :) the mandarin oranges don't sound good, but they ARE! and Denise doesn't even like mandarins, so if she'll eat it, you know it's good!
