  1. This cake is DIVINE!!! I used french vanilla cake mix because that's what I had, and chocolate pudding. Excellent for summertime because it is so cool and creamy. I can't wait to experiment with different cakes and puddings! Thanks!! ~Manda

  2. This is a wonderful cake. I remember when they used to advertise it on TV. Hadn't thought about it in years. Thanks for the reminder. Love the yellow cake with chocolate pudding combination! Should try chocolate cake with chocolate pudding and add a dash of mint flavoring - Yummy! Next time, I will. Thanks for posting it.

  3. The cake was easy...and my family enjoyed it. I found the pudding never really did come to a full boil, but it was thick and bubbling so I considered it cooked and it worked.

  4. Thanks for posting this - I was looking for it. Yellow cake w/ pistachio pudding is my favorite combo!

  5. This was yummy!!! I made it with a dark chocolate cake mix and vanilla pudding....I also added a can of sweetened condensed milk before pouring the mixture on the cake. And I added about a 1/2 cup of the pudding mixture to the cool whip to make the icing...yum yum! It is very important that you serve this very cold! I will make it again and most likely chill over night. Thanks for sharing it...I can't wait to try different flavors! Sandy
