Love, love, love it! I had a can of pie filling that I needed to use and this was the perfect topping. Popped it in the oven at 350 for 15 minutes, and served it with whipped cream. Fantastic! Thanks for posting.

The perfect streusel topping. Exactly what I had in mind -- bakes up nice & crunchy. Thanks for a great recipe!

Great! I was in a pinch cuz my daughter decided her pumpkin pie needed streusel topping. Next time I may use Bisquick w/ the flour so the crumbles puff up some. Tastes great right out of the bowl.

I add 1c of chopped nuts to this, and have used it (so far) to top banana bread and pumpkin zucchini muffins. It's easy to throw together, and makes the above recipes taste much better than usual. Thanks for posting, 2969!

I made this to top my apple cinnamon muffins. I was afraid the streusel might taste bad and ruin all my muffins but I decided to use it anyways. Boy am I glad I did! If anything, the streusel MADE the muffins. I added a few walnuts to add some extra crunch. I also wasn't sure if the streusel would come out crunchy but it definitely was and it stayed like that for a few days. The recipe makes A LOT. After I loaded up all 12 of my muffins with it, I still had 1/3 of it left.

I've made this several times and it's a very good recipe. It is very versatile and I add chopped pecans to top mini quick bread loaves. It freezes well, but the best part is that it makes enough to do a ton of baking & freezing around the holidays. Great recipe, thanks for posting.

This is a really great topping! I used it on a banana bread and I am very pleased with it. I had some leftover so I will use it for a small tart! Thank you for a great recipe! Always, Jelly :)

This was great on some apples, sugar and cinnamon. I added walnuts to the topping for some added crunch. Yum yum!

Excellent! I needed a quick fix for an overly browned top crust on my apple pie. This was perfect. I just cut the crust off and liberally applied this mixture. Thanks for saving my pie!!! :)

Great streusel topping! I made a cherry pie and topped it with this mixture. It was more than enough for a 9 inch pie and baked nicely. Liked the crunch and the bit of cinnamon flavor. Will definitely use this topping again! Thank you very much for posting grandma2969.

I used this to top lowfat pumpkin muffins for a little crunch, and it turned out awesome. The only things I changed were using a mixture of brown and white sugar and I used SmartBalance instead of butter. Really great results on the first try, will definitely use again!

Pretty good- this recipe did the trick. I made this for some cherry muffins I made (using Mix and Match Bundt Cake, Mix and Match Bundt cake). The changes I made were as follows: 1/2 Tablespoon Water, 1/2 Tablespoon vanilla, Crisco instead of butter and I ended up using slightly more than the 1/4 cup called for in the recipe- my mixture didn't seem to be crumbly enough. Not too bad...

The topping was great! I put it on a peach pie and it was all that I hoped for. I'm sure I will be using this again and again. Thank you.
