So simple and so good. I will definitely be making this again. It was devoured! A great way to use up that leftover buttermilk that I always seem to have for some reason. And I highly recommend the sauce.
PURE HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! My hubby had his "with the works"!!! :) I didn't have any allspice, so I subbed 3/4 of a 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, and added a pinch each of more cinnamon and cloves! Oh my goodness, this was absolutely delicious! I love gingerbread, and the butter sauce was a lovely addition to a moist and flavorful dessert!I made this for Best of 2010 Tag, thanks for a new favorite!
This is fantastic, and very tasty with the streusel topping. I didn't make the butter sauce for our first tasting but may make some tonight because I doubled the cake, which is definitely the way to go! I made this for ZWT #6 and I'm a Quisine Queen!!
