Yummy! I only made one change....I did not melt the butter, just used softened butter in the crumb topping. Easy and delicious!
I am searching for the perfect banana nut muffin recipe, and while this is not perfect, it tasted the best out of what we have tried so far. The topping was very good, but it was a bit too crumbly and alot fell off when taking them out of the pan. And they were a bit small, we are looking for bakery style, and I think I would make less of them but fill the tins a bit more.
This is the best banana muffin mix iver ever made !!! Now making double batch for evryone in the neighborhood :)
These are delicious! They turned out perfect!
What to do with ripe bananas? Make these muffins, of course. These were fantastic. The taste, texture, and crumb topping make them worthy of comparison with any boutique bakery muffin. I added some chopped walnuts to the crumb topping. Yum!!! I'm going to try jumbo muffins next time.
These received raves when I made them last week as a special morning treat.
Made them exactly as directed and they were a huge hit! Thank you!
I used 1/2 AP flour and 1/2 whole wheat. I only had about 3/4 C of mashed bananas and it was still delicious! I added about a 1/2 tsp of vanilla. A huge hit in our home!
These were wonderful muffins! The 3 Tbsp butter may be a bit much to make a crumbly struesel (or perhaps I mismeasured), mine was more of a filling texture. But I dropped it by spoonfuls on the top of my muffins and it carmelized while baking- turning the tops into a crunchy sweet treat.
WOW!!! What a great recipe. I made this for my family this morning for breakfast. I also took a few to work to munch on during the day. They have a wonderful flavor and aroma. Cant wait to make this again. Thanks for the recipe.
