Awesome recipe, L!!! It only took me 10 minutes to whip it together! I used a smaller bundt pan instead of the loaf pan, since my loaf pan is huge hehe. I can´t believe how much the strawberry flavor comes through with such a small amount! Amazing...I served with fresh sliced strawberries and fresh whipped cream...This was THEE perfect food to end my diet. ;) lol Thanks for another awesome recipe L!!!
This recipe didn't work out for me. I followed the directions carefully but the cake tasted raw in the middle even though the cake tester came out clean. I put the cake back into the oven and baked it for about 15 minutes but it became dry, I ended up throwing it away.
I made this and took it to dinner at my in laws. Topped it with whipped cream. It was ok, but it seemed very heavy, even for a pound cake. No one asked for seconds, no one wanted the recipe and no one offered to take the left over home which is very unusual.
I brought this to work and it was a huge hit--gone in five minutes! I don't have a loaf pan, so I had to make this in an 8x8x2 pan. I lowered the temperature some (around 300F) and it took about 28 minutes. Came out fine, as my coworkers will attest!
Nice and easy. I was also surprised by how much it smelled like strawberries when cooking. Would be nice to use as a base for other things--shortcake type dessert comes to mind. Very dense cake.
Turned out a bit dry but good taste. Will try again with a different yoghurt.
