This easy soup is perfect for breakfast or dessert
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup sliced strawberry
- 2 tablespoons orange juice (or apple juice)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Blend ingredients in a food processor.
- Serve chilled.
I learned a trick to this recipe at a B&B... sounds wierd but trust me. Add cayane pepper. Just the ground red pepper and it does something wonderful! Also I prefer to use vanilla yogurt (Stoneyfield Organic). LOVE this. Try for a brunch with Pretty Grits and Eggs! BIG HIT!
This was wonderful. We had it with dinner outside on the deck tonight and it really hit the spot after a hot day. I used frozen strawberries and sour cream (didn't have any yogurt on hand) and a bit of extra honey and it was divine. Can't wait to have it again!
Delicious - just needed a bit more honey than called for.
