Great with fish, or chicken, but a great side for anything, on a summer's day!
- 2 cups ripe strawberries (cleaned and chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons dark rum
- 1⁄2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- Mix and let stand for at least 1/2 hour.
