Directions

  1. Combine Sugar, flour, Cinnamon, & orange zest with fruit.
  2. Spread in 8 x 8 glass baking dish.
  3. Bake 10 min at 400 F degrees.
  4. Topping:.
  5. Mix dry ingredients together.
  6. Cut in butter
  7. Stir in Buttermilk.
  8. Drop by spoonfuls on fruit.
  9. Bake 25 min at 400 F Degrees.

Why this wonderful recipe has not been reviewed in almost 4 years is beyond me! This was a nice change from the "crisp" type of rhubarb desserts we're used to here. The cake-like topping was light and flavorful, plus the orange zest gave the fruity filling a wonderful zing! I will definitely come back to this winner again. Thanks Connie!
