I am making a recipe box complete with my 17 year old son's favorite recipes as part of his graduation gift. This has always been one of his favorites and he will be thrilled to see it included in the box. It is SO good. Thanks!

OK, I had a bunch of fresh strawberries that I needed to use, and the temp here over the last few days has been around 100 degrees, so I didn't want to do much baking. I needed something to take to a bbq and I thought this recipe looked perfect for a hot day, but I didn't have any pretzels!! So I made my favorite crust from recipe #91934. I cut back to about a 1/2 cup of sugar in the cream cheese and made the rest as directed. Awsome!! My DD had 6 pieces in one afternoon!! I really want to try it again with the pretzels, but DH said I shouldn't make it again too soon, since we all liked it way too much! Thanks for the recipe!

My mom used to make this recipe when we were kids and I remember it being one of my favorites (always had it at Easter). Thanks for sharing Indiana Nurse, this brings back sweet memories and I'm sure my family feels the same!

This may sound like a strange dessert but it really is delicious. My mother used to make it and I LOVED it. She crushed walnuts and used that with the pretzels as her crust. My children have nut allergies so I haven't made this, nor eaten it for so many years. It's great to see this posted - and without nuts in the crust! I can't wait to make this for my own kids now. Thanks so much for sharing this old time favorite of mine :)

This dish is fantastic! My sister-in-law and I co-owned a bakery (I've since pulled out due to children) and she actually requests me to make this for her all the time! Everyone grabs a fork and we just dig in! I totally agree with Barb Witherspoon... every single time I make this, we are like big pigs! Thank you for this recipe.

My family requests this dish at every holiday meal. We serve it as a dessert and everyone loves it! I first tried it when it was printed in a collection of recipes from our church about 20 yrs. ago. I've been making ever since!

WARNING!!! Do not make this recipe unless you are prepared to make a pig of yourself. It is soooo good you'll want to eat the whole pan!! Thank you for posting.

My family enjoyed this so much they requested it again and again this summer until they were finally tired of it. It is easy to put together and a great (and unusual) dish for a potluck. Be sure jello is thickened before you pour it over cream cheese--otherwise, your cream cheese will float and the pretzels will get soggy. We were so anxious to eat it one time, we didn't wait long enough.

I've been making a recipe very simular to this for years. I was too lazy to get out my cookbook, so I printed this one out, man oh man did it disappear fast at my family gathering. The kids especially liked it. Who wouldn't when you have strawberries, jello, cream cheese and whipped cream all in one recipe. I love it because I love the salty and sweet combination. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

A great recipe. I put the pretzels in my mini-chopper and the came out great. A lite tasting dessert that is great to serve to your company.
