I'm always looking for new ways to use strawberries. We grow a lot of them and it's our favorite fruit. This is a very good way to use them!!

This is best if you keep it in the refrigirator oernight, as it sort of compresses a little, allowing the flavors to meld. Delicious, and beautiful!!!!

Ingredients Nutrition


  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg and extracts.
  3. Combine dry ingredients.
  4. Add to creamed mixture.
  5. Cover and chill 1 hour.
  6. On floured surface, roll out dough to a 13 inch circle.
  7. Place on ungreased pizza pan.
  8. Build up edges.
  9. Bake at 350* for 18 minutes.
  10. In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  11. Spread over cooled crust.
  12. Arrange sliced strawberries on top.
  13. In sacepan, mix sugar, cornstarch and crushed berries.
  14. Bring to a boil.
  15. Cook and stir for 1-2 minutes, until thickened.
  16. Cool for 10 minutes.
  17. Spoon over sliced strawberries.
  18. Chill until serving.
