This is one of my DH's breakfast standards which I made up several years before I discovered zaar. He takes this whole amount himself because he doesn't have lunch before 3 or 4 pm, but it's enough for 2 persons.

What a great breakfast treat! I have been to get some more flax into our diets and this fit the bill. I used fresh berries that I froze. Thanks for sharing.

I normally make boring smoothies with the usually ingredients and whatever fruits I have that I need to use up, but this recipe was different and I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I did! It's just the right amount of ingredients to where its not as sweet as usual, which is what I like. Great recipe!

I cut the reipe back to1 serving of this shake and used regular milk instead of buttermilk and ground flax seeds instead of the flax seed oil. A nice and filling breakfast smoothie. Made for Sweet Traditions
