I also had a very ripe piece of papaya left so I made this shake. My berries were also frozen so I skipped the ice like another reviewer said. I loved the flavors of papaya and strawberry together. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT7-Pacific Islands.
Mmm mm! I had this extra ripe papaya just begging to be used for something and this worked out perfectly. I doubled the recipe and used frozen strawberries so I didn't need any ice. I think I accidentally added more honey than was called for because it had a strong honey flavoured undertone, but still delicious. Thanks!
Nice smothie. Made just as directed, but skipped the honey and ice. Great information on how to choose and store papaya. Made for the Epicurean Queen Team at ZWT5. (I'll not post my picture, Muffin's is so...nice!)
This makes a really nice, fresh-tasting smoothie! Mine came out really thick, but I'm thinking that's because of the 2% Greek yogurt that I used. I used light agave syrup instead of honey because I didn't have to dig as far back in the cabinet to find the agave syrup. I really liked that the fresh fruit flavor really shined through and wasn't overpowered by sweetness like a lot of smoothies I've tried. Thanks for posting! Made for ZWT5 Caribbean
Mmmm what a delicious and healthy shake! I loved it, and drank the entire thing by myself. Made with vanilla yogurt, and it was sweet enough so skipped the honey. Will definitely make again. Thanks Sharon, for a lovely drink, and I enjoyed the info you shared. Made for the Prop it Up event in photos forum.
Amazing smoothie, a family favorite, make it regularely!
Sharon we really enjoyed this drink, I used strawberry yogurt in place of the plain, soooo yummy! thanks, Kitten:)
