I found this unusual french desert in a pamphlet about cooking with strawberries. Hope you enjoy it too. Cook time is standing time.
- Clean and hull strawberries, cut in half.
- Sprinkle with sugar and red wine vinegar.
- Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Love the addition of the vinegar. This was so awesome with whipped cream on top. Oh what a simple and yummy dessert this makes! I used Splenda in place of the sugar and you couldn't tell the difference. Really healthy for you too!

I know this is meant as dessert but I couldn't resist spooning a bit over some greens, adding some cracked black pepper and a few green onions. Wonderful, Blink.
