Yum I used my FREE peaches from a fruit market we stopped at the other day. They gave us 2 boxes, as they needed to be used right away. Did not have any ice cream so I'll have to make this again. Thanks for posting.
Yummy, I foudn the most lovely strawberries at the market today and I really wanted a nice drink recipe to use them in. This was lovely and so refreshing on a summer day! I reduced the sugar, but everything else the same. Thanks for the recipe!
This was yummy. It didn't get very thick and I'm not sure if it is because I used 1/2% milk. I will try again using whole milk. Thanks!
I put strawberries and a banana in it. I relee like it. and it was Eesy to make. I had no! help at all.
First, let me say that I hate strawberry ice cream. To top that off, I have a gallon of low carb strawberry, which is about as much like strawberries as my butt. I changed this slightly, and used the yukky strawberry ice cream and used Splenda instead of sugar. It was absolutely delicious. I can't imagine how nice this would have tasted had I had "real" ice cream.
I scaled this down to a serving for 1 person. I used 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 tbls. sugar, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and threw in a ripe banana! Loved it! Thanks!
