  1. This drink was awesome. It was tangy yet sweet at the same time. I liked it because you could taste the fresh strawberries. I can't wait until the summer to make it for a refreshing beverage.

  2. This was really good. It wasn't really all that cold though (even though I used cold water and cold soda). So next time I make this, I'll use ice cubes instead of cold water, so it's far more chilled after blending. But this will be a drink we'll have time after time this summer, because it's very refreshing when cold. Thanks, Paula Maguire.

  3. A definite winner! I have this one in my cookbook & keep coming back to it. I can barely make enough before it's gone & the kids are asking for more. My blender isn't big enough to hold all of the ingredients, so I usually omit the club soda and just pour it in the glass when serving. : )

  4. This was marvelous!!! I cannot wait to make it again. I did use frozen strawberrries.

  5. This drink is simply marvelous! I couldn't get enough the first time I made it. If you're looking for a treat or something different to serve your guests, this is it. I used a 16 oz bag of frozen strawberries, and I juiced three lemons when I made it. Three lemons typically gives the recommended 3/4 cups. The club soda really kicks it up a notch, so I highly recommend using it.

  2. I always have tons of strawberries in June and start getting desperate on how to get rid of them. This recipe is perfect! I didn't have club soda so I threw in a cup of gingerale and a cup of water instead. Both my kids loved it!

  3. A refreshing twist to your usual lemonade. I had some big, beautiful organic lemons that I had just purchased at the farmer's market and wanted something a little different than my usual lemonade that I make with a homemade vanilla-honey simple syrup mixture. This drink was a little on the sweet strawberry side for me...but was still very very good. I used cold water instead of the club soda since I didn't have any on hand, but after giving it a spin in the blender still had a nice frothiness to it. Next time I make it,I will probably use a little more lemon juice, but that is just how I like my lemonade...nice and tart!!! The only thing I will definitely do next time is strain the mixture before serving, due to all those pesky, little strawberry seeds! Thanks for sharing!!!
