Recipe by Happy Hippie
These cookie bars are so good. My grandkids just loved them as did the rest of the family. This is a recipe from "Winning Recipes from Taste of Home." I happened to have a box of cornflakes that contained dried strawberries, so I used that. YUMMY!
- 1⁄2 cup butter, softened (I used margarine)
- 1⁄2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 18 1⁄4 ounces white cake mix
- 1 cup corn flakes, finely crushed
- 1 cup strawberry jam (use the jam of your choice)
