  1. Sprinkle strawberries with the sugar and let sit for a few minutes until they make some juice (mash them up a little bit.
  2. Fold strawberries into the cool whip.
  3. Pour the mixture onto the cake and chill for at least one hour.
  4. Peaches or another fruit of your choice can be used instead of strawberries.
