I like making this in the summer. It is so simple and a light dessert to serve. I also have served it over ice cream.
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
- 4 fresh strawberries (to garnish)
- Fold whipped cream into strawberry mixture.
- Spoon into individual serving bowls.
- Garnish, if desired.
- Serve immediately, or chill for 1 hour.
