Great Recipe! I whipped it up quickly before dinner last night. I used 2 containers of strawberries cut in quarters and added a few dashes of cinnamon. The only change I made in prep was that I didn't put the strawberries in the milk or remove the seeds (but a great idea for making the cake pink!) The rest of the recipe is easy, fast and fun. It came out so delicious!

Oh my gosh! This recipe is so fantastic. I have been wanting to make a warm strawberry dish and I came across this cobbler. I followed the recipe as directed and only added a bit more cinnamon to my liking. It was perfect. Thank you so much!

I purchased a large container of strawberries and found your lovely recipe to make for dessert. I mixed up the batter in the Vitamix and poured over the melted butter. For the sugar, I used 1/2 cup of Splenda and 1/4 cup sugar which worked very well and about 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon. The cobbler was topped it off with whipped cream when serving. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

I finally got around to making this cobbler. My mother called it "shortcake" but I'm sure it is just like hers. It looked and tasted so much like it that it brought back many fond memories. The only thing that might have made a difference in the taste was the berries. We lived waaaay out in the country. There was a railroad track about 2 miles from home and we would go down there and pick wild strawberries. They were small, but oh so very good and sweet. We would come home with a bucketfull of berries and a backside full of chiggers! But the end result was well worth it. Thanks so much for posting this recipe and giving me a stroll down memory lane.
