REALLY, REALLY NICE ROLLS, & worth making again & again! Loved the looks of them, the taste of them! Even enjoyed putting them together, although I'll admit that I gave myself a bit more room around the edges than the suggested 1 inch! Thanks so much for posting this great recipe! These are delish! I will make them again, for sure. But next time I won't try outsmarting the recipe. I thought spreading jam on cream cheese would be inconvenient; so I mixed the two together & after looking into a bowl of pink goo I realized that part of the charm of these rolls is the contrast between the white & red. Too late, though. I also had too much filling to roll them properly & I felt like a lot of filling got squished out. DS helped me scoop extra filling on top of the rolls & into the spirals as much as possible after we put them in the muffin tin. I'm rating 5 stars even before I make it again because I don't think flavor was compromised by my ego.. only esthetic value. lol Thanks for sharing your wonderfully tasty recipe, Nimz!
Fabulous little treat! I did have a bit of difficulty rolling it into the log. The filling didn't want to stay inside and I followed the directions closely. I make rolls quite regularly, so I was a bit surprised at it. However, it worked out in the end with a little tweaking. The end result is a lovely, tender morsel and the serving amount is just perfect! :)
I love yeast recipes, this one was good although I ran out of strawberry jam so I had to use blueberry instead, I also reduced the amount of jam slightly, thanks for sharing Nimz!...Kitten:0
These tasted quite good, but I apparently don't have the hang of rolling them up, because most of the jam went all over my counter top. I will make these again with less jam, I think
