  1. This recipie is so great especially when you dont have all day to prepare for a dinner party!!

  2. This was good, but thought the frosting was a little overpowering. But you can never have too many strawberries. I doubled the recipe and it was scuptious plain, I did half for me without frosting, but I did try with. Thanks for sharing.

  3. we loved this cake, it is easy and super yummy. i am planning on making it for family over spring break. we left out the whipped cream and added fresh strawberries all over. everyone loved the frosting. i was happy to find this recipe because i do not like the pre-mixed "strawberry" cakes. thank you.

  4. Very good. Too many strawberries even for me and I LOVE strawberries. Might not use as many next time around. Overall a VERY tasty recipe.

  5. I made this as a special treat for dh b/c strawberry desserts are his favorite. We both loved it (and it is rare I love desserts that don't have chocolate, lol.) The flavor of the icing goes perfectly with the strawberries. I had some questions as to where the strawberries actually go (on top or pressed down inside the cake) but left them on top with icing covering the whole thing. So good! Thanks for posting, Tracy.
