I don't know when or where exactly my mother came up with this but is so simple, my granddaughter has been making it since she could "help" in the kitchen.
- 1 quart strawberry preserves
- 3 quarts commercial buttermilk
- Blend buttermilk and strawberry preserves in ice cream freezer container with large whisk.
- Start ice cream freezer.
- Ready to serve when freezer turns off.
