Oh my! This turned out so yummy! I wasn't sure what to expect because I did change things a bit. I didn't use an ice cream maker, but just put in a container and put in freezer overnight. When I got up this morning, it was a slushy! Delicious in flavor, you must try this! Thanks chia!!!!!

  1. combine water and preserves, bring to a boil, cook 2 minutes until preserves are melted.
  2. remove from heat, stir in basil and lemon juice.
  3. pour into a freezer can or an ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions.
  4. spoon into a container and freeze 1 hour until firm.
