- 1 cup fresh strawberries
- 1 medium banana
- 1 cup skim milk
- 1⁄4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
- 6 -8 ice cubes
- Put all ingredients in blender and blend.
My familey really liked this I made this and they want seconds after five seconds unforthnely I was allergict to strawberries but I did the recipe without strawberries and i loved it now I know why my familey wanted seconeds I said no but I drank seconeds but there wasn't enough thanks you have made my day ta ta (means bye in Jordan language )!!!!
I'll admit I made several modifications to this recipe, but it still turned out pretty good. Instead of milk, I used 1/4c. orange juice and 3/4c. banana/vanilla yogurt that I had frozen in an ice cube tray. I omitted the ice cubes and substituted 1T. honey for the splenda. The banana flavor was a little strong, but then again I'm not a big banana fan and it's my own fault for substituting the yogurt.
This is an amazing smoothie! I didn't use ice in this, but it still tasted great! I would try halving the sugar next time to see if it's as good, because it would be nice to have it be a little healthier, but it did taste awesome!
