This very thick, not-too-sweet shake packs a big strawberry and banana taste.
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1 cup strawberry ice cream
- 1 medium firm banana, sliced
- whipped cream
- 2 fresh strawberries (optional)
- Place milk, ice cream and banana in a blender; cover and process until smooth. Pour into glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and a strawberry if desired.
Very yum. This only makes 1 serving though. DD (toddler) and I enjoyed it as a late night treat! I used Thai coconut milk that I had on hand which wanted to be used up, would purposely use such again! Haagen Dazs strawberry ice cream (contains no corn), less than a medium banana but it was pretty ripe, so gave flavour. No garnishes. I will make this again!!
Mmmmm...what a delightful drink! In our house the strawberry icecream seems to be left for last...the choc and vanilla from the Neopolitan tub always goes first :) I think I added a little extra milk that the recipe stated but otherwise made as directed. Yum!! Reviewed for Fall 2008 PAC
I knew these would be a hit. The only thing I did differently was to use vanilla ice cream and add fresh strawberries to make strawberry ice cream and added some shaved chocolate to the top of the whipped cream. Great Shake!!!!
