  1. We tried it as written, and it was wonderful. Then we put it on top of greens, and it was excellent. On the salad greens it seemed to beg for something salty. We tried both shaved parmesan (the good stuff), and shaved natural rind mild cheddar from a local farm. Both were fabulous.

  2. Very nice!! The strawberries and balsamic paired well...just loved the sweet/sour flavor combination, along with the black pepper. I actually used fresh ground pepper melange. Yum!!

  3. I enjoyed this salad this afternoon as my energy was wearing down. A nice no guilt snack. Love the sweet, sour, spicy thing going on. Thanks for sharing. Nick's Mom

  4. One of my favorites. The way the sweet, sour, and spicy flavors combine is nothing short of impeccable.

  5. I made this as a quick supper along with some leftover London broil. Just blown away at how well the sweetness of the strawberries pairs with the acidity of the balsamic vinegar. The pepper is a must as it helps meld the flavors together. Definitely use freshly ground pepper if you can. Thanks nannie for sharing.
