  1. dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
  2. stir in strawberries and sugar, chill.
  3. fold in whipped topping.
  4. cover bottom of pan with cake pieces.
  5. pour strawberry and whipped topping mix over the cake pieces.
  6. refrigerate 4-5 hours.
  7. cover with glaze and refrigerate until ready to use.
  8. To make glaze:.
  9. dissolve gelatin in water and chill, use when slightly thick and pour over the cake mixture.
