Yum! Just made these for my husband and I using strawberries picked just this morning, and wow, are they good. Added a little extra amaretto to polish off a bottle. I downed mine in pretty much one shot, hubby is still sipping his. I could see these being really dangerous on a hot sunny day (like today!). Good thing we're now out of milk. haha

This is better than any smoothie or shake I've ever tried. The amaretto really kicked up the flavor a lot in this cocktail. Like others, I didn't strain the drink either. I'm thinking....to make it a real adult cocktail, maybe I'll add a little gin the next time I make this. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Shuzbud.

This was awesome! I had to make my BF one of his own after he tried mine;)! I used splenda granulated sugar (1 TBS) and I was more than generous w/ the Amaretto;) Thanks for sharing!

This was an enjoyable drink! I didn't strain either, as I knew it would be fine, as is...I also didn't use any sugar, as I tasted it, and didn't think it needed it. Perfect to share with friends, I'll definitely be making this again :-) ! Thanks, shuzbud, for a lovely treat!

I wouldn't dream of putting this through a sieve. It would be a waste of perfectly good 'roughage'. ;-) Loved it on this most hot of summer day! Made for Everyday is a Holiday.
