I have just made this with plums and love the addition of almonds in the crumble topping - an addictive dessert and so wonderfully easy too .
This was wonderful! I used almond extract and it made the strawberries so sweet! I had to use a Pink Lady apple, but it worked out fine. I loved that the topping only had 2 tbs. butter, too. Thanks Tee Lee, for posting such a fabulous dessert. Roxygirl
