What a delightful recipe! I woke up lazy this morning and didn't want to fuss over breakfast, so I searched my recipes and found this one. I used garden-fresh strawberries my Mom had brought me, and she always sugars them a tiny bit, so I did cut down on the honey to compensate. I halved the recipe and had the whole thing for breakfast. Sadly, the heat is bringing our strawberry season to an early end here, but I will be making this year after year for sure. Thank you for sharing, Jenny!
These were awesome! A little tang from the lime, some bite from the ginger and sweetness from the strawberries. I think the cream is a must though!
What a beautiful combination of ingredients! I just loved the few things you put together(all easily available at anyone's house)and the taste to boot! This was really really nice and very simple to make as well. The only additional ingredient I used was 1/2 tsp. of freshly powdered cinnamon in the syrup mixture. It was very nice to eat this dessert for BREAKFAST this morning!(You know, I felt that if I wanted the ay ahead to be good, I had to start it on a sweet note;)) Thank you for posting this !
