  1. Strawberries are in season here in Trinidad and I bought a big box of them. Liked the looks of this and so glad I gave it a try. Easy and so fresh tasting, not to sweet and so pretty to look at. This will be a favorite of mine when ever I find great, fresh looking strawberrries.

  2. Very good! I used 1/3 reduced fat cream cheese and a little splenda and truvia instead of the powdered sugar. Yum yum!

  3. This was really good. I added chocolate shaving in the middle and on the top for a little extra flavor.

  4. Delicious served over fresh strawberries and would be good with pound cake too. Very easy!

  5. TO DIE FOR!!! I sprinkled on some chocolate shavings and popped a chocolate Pirouette wafer inside. So elegant looking in the wine glasses. Even the name has elegance! What a beautiful dessert. Simply scrumptious...

  2. A very elegant and romantic dessert, yet incredibly fast and simple to prepare. I added 2-3 Tbsp of powdered sugar, enough for just the most subtle hint of sweetness. I used neufchatel in place of the cream cheese (basically the same flavor, but 1/3 less fat) and subbed fat-free half and half for 1/3 of the whipping cream as well, yet it was still thick and rich. Dh had his over a slice of chocolate cake...chocolate, strawberries, and Devonshire Cream ~ he was in heaven! Thanks so much for posting! :)
