  1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.
  2. Add vanilla.
  3. Combine dry ingredients. Add the flour mixture (in 3 additions) and the sour cream in (2 additions) alternately starting and ending with flour. Mix only until combined.
  4. Fold in strawberries and nuts.
  5. Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes.
  7. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
