This recipe comes from the John F. Kennedy High School cookbook and is a favorite of mine.
- 5 lbs potatoes
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 pint half-and-half cream
- 1⁄2 pint heavy whipping cream
- salt and pepper
- Peel and boil potatoes whole. Shred cooked potatoes inot a 9x13 inch baking dish. Mix the rest of the ingredients with the potatoes. Bake at 350* for 30-40 minutes.
- Preparation time includes boiling the potatoes.
