There is some bite to this! You can drink it hot or cold.


  1. Boil all the ingrdients for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain into teapot.
  3. Serve.

As the 4 stars say - I loved this! I did use white sugar, as the only brown sugar I had, was very dark brown sugar for baking - and the flavour was fine. I think I might add a touch of lemon next time - even though I LOVE ginger - I find lemon often "lifts" the ginger taste and enhances it! A very nice tea, and one which would be an excellent remedy for a headache or aches and pains in general. Thanks for posting this Melissa - another fine recipe from your collection. FT:-)
