Great easy supper. I used the reduced calorie cream of celery soup, real mushrooms (that I sauteed) and the tri-colored macaroni. It was very colorful. The only thing I would omit the next time is the parsley. I do not like the taste of it, so that is a personal preference. Thanks, for a recipe for comfort food without the guilt! Carole in Orlando

I couldn't find chunky tomato sauce so used regular and also used full-fat cheese. Otherwise, I followed the recipe, using whole wheat macaroni and twice the amount of mushrooms (I love mushrooms). I cooked the pasta, drained it & then used the same pot to cook the sauce. (A one pot dish! Yay!) Thanks for the recipe ladypit!

Very good and easy!! Also a money-saver! I followed the directions exactly, but added a pound of browned ground beef (dh can't eat without having meat lol) and added a can of petite diced tomato and a bit of garlic salt. Just perfect! Everyone loved it! Thanks for a great keeper!

Carole said it, comfort food without the guilt. This is awesome! I did not have chunky tomato sauce so I used a can of diced tomatoes, increased the dried onion flakes to 2 tablespoons and decreased the parsley to 1 tablespoon. Also, I had planned to use cream of chicken soup only to learn that I had none. So I did what any Zaar addict would do, I did a search and guess what? It was there, Healthy Substitute for Cream of Chicken Soup Healthy Substitute for Cream of Chicken Soup. Worked just fine.

This was quick and very good! I was afraid it would be soupy but it wasn't. I used fresh mushrooms and fresh parsley. Because I wanted to make it easy on myself I also added about 2 cups finely chopped zucchini at step 3. I mixed in the macaroni but did not simmer it, served it right away. I can see myself adding garlic, basil next time.
